FCC Seek Volunteers!

Fakenham Cricket Club plan to unveil their new club structure outlining all of the roles that sit behind the scenes to ensure the club is run successfully.

There are many roles unfulfilled and as such the Committee would like to invite: Players (seniors and youth), Parents, Members, Vice-Presidents, Spectators, and the Public to attend a meeting on Sunday 24th February at 3.15pm, which follows on from Youth training.

The intention is for the Club to make it very open as to what goes on behind the scenes, unveil the structure and to open up all the unfulfilled roles to willing volunteers.

President Gordon Turner pointed out that “like all amateur clubs we are dependent on volunteers.  But we often find volunteers are not as forthcoming because they do not know what they can get involved in.  We hope this meeting will help people to see how and what they can get involved in and help out.”

The meeting on Sunday 24th February will start at 3.15pm at Fakenham Cricket Club, Highfield Lawn.
